The product
- What is MVV Portal?
- Construction management software. MVV Construction, a London design and build contractor, runs every job on it: programme, costs and invoicing, valuations, site photos, labour, CIS and pay, legal letters and design, with AI assistants that draft and check the paperwork.
- Who is it for?
- Best fit today: UK residential and commercial contractors, design and build firms and refurbishment specialists, from 2 to 50 people.
- Can I use it now?
- MVV Portal is used every day at MVV Construction, and we're opening it to a small number of other building firms. Demos are open. The first firms get a direct line to the people who built it.
- Which devices does it run on?
- Three ways in: phone, browser and Mac app. An iPhone app is ready for firms that ask for it. It isn't on the App Store yet.
Your firm's data
- Is my firm's data kept separate?
- Yes. Each firm gets a database of its own. No other firm's jobs, money or people are in it, and none of ours are either. The system we run the service from keeps accounts and billing. It never holds your projects, invoices or people.
- Can clients see my costs?
- No. Clients see their programme, shared files and valuations, never your costs or profit. Who sees what is enforced by the database, table by table, not just hidden on the screen.
- Will it carry our name?
- Yes. The app is built separately for each firm, with your name and logo on it, not ours. It goes through automated security scans before it goes live.
- How do updates reach us?
- A change reaches other firms only after we've run it on our own jobs for three months.
The AI
- Does the AI make decisions?
- No. The assistants draft and check. The people in the office still make the decisions: an invoice is only raised when you say yes, and nothing changes on the labour board until an admin adopts it.
- Will the AI contact my clients?
- No. The AI never emails, texts or calls your clients.
- How is AI spending controlled?
- Each assistant has an off switch, and they all share one monthly spending limit that the owner sets. AI use is logged by person and by assistant.
The company and The Estimator
- Who makes MVV Portal?
- MVV Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (no. 17300982). It was formed in June 2026, when the software MVV Construction had built for its own jobs became its own company.
- What is The Estimator?
- Our second product. Describe the job, add photos or a plan if you have them, and answer a few questions. You get a price range with a breakdown by trade, on screen and by email. It covers anywhere in England, by postcode, with one payment per estimate shown before you start. It is an estimate, not a quotation, and prices exclude VAT.
